Hello, great work team, and sandboxie has been doing a fine job so far. However I've just a minor feature request.

Could we have an option to reset a particular sandbox to original default settings (of that version)? Sometimes its suggested that I delete and create a new sandbox without any settings copied over, however I may wish to keep my files within the sandbox.

To put my concern into context, I've been a long user of sandboxie, so before the print spooler things came about I've been using it already. Thus I don't know if any changes will be made to the new settings during an update.

I am having difficulty using Sandboxie 5.06 and now 5.07.1
-- WIn10Pro x64 v1511 (10586.14) // Norton IS 22.5.5.15 (toolbar disabled)
-- just starting crashing November 27 with Sandboxie 5.06; so uninstalled, reboot, then installed 5.07.1, reboot
-- 5.07.1 crashes same as 5.06 today

On another note, I have pulled files out of sandboxed IE past several years. Beginning with 10586.11 and 10586.14, I have problem saving video files (mp4, flv). Netcache is no longer openly visible outside when "show hidden files" checkboxed in file explorer (not sandboxed). Some are difficult to save using Sandboxie built-in save or quick recovery.

Sandboxie 5.07.1 not crashing after uninstall, reboot, then new install. Old sandboxie folders 0 and 1 crash; so deleted contents then renamed folder to 2. Select web browser works no issue -- folder 2.

Most likely Norton. Norton isn't officially compatible with SBIE. http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?Know ... cts#Norton Antivirus Products

And we've seen lingering issues with it. We recommend removing it if issuers persist.

Good afternoon dear developers .
I want to ask whether the problem is fixed with the theme of firefox and conflict with Norton Security and launching firefox?

Cannot get any version of sandboxie, including this one to function on Win 10 (64-bit), have disabled all firewall and anti virus have tried installing in safe mode/ uninstalling in safe mode, normal mode, different versions etc not sure what is going on. It fails to start the service everytime and when I try to install i get Kmdutil failed to start.

SBIE does work with Win10/64. How are you installing it? Is this a portable version?

Sad that it does not function on Win10/64, have not tried the portable, and the last install i was trying is literally the one from the beginning of the thread (64 bit not he combo installer)

Actually. It does work just fine with Win10/64.
We have thousands upon thousands of users currently using the newest 5.07.1 Beta. Usually, this is seen in the user created portable installation.

If the Beta isn't working for you, try the stable v5.06 release.

Make sure you completely remove SBIE. Make sure you install SBIE as an admin. Something could be blocking the installation of the driver

i have completely uninstalled any anti virus/firewall except the one built into windows and i have gone into services and disabled it completely. The installer is being run as an admin, i have very thoroughly checked all services to make sure there is not hint of antivirus/antimalware blocking this install. I have 64 bit win 10.

I have tried in safe mode, and normal mode, i have tried the stable version and this version as well as an old version i had none function and all get this same error.
Thank you for the links im sure most people who post have not searched to try to solve the issue first before posting, I have spent roughly 8 hours now trying to get this program to function, many internet searches as well as forum searches have been completed.

I have also checked my registry to make sure there is not a corruption or traces of a previous install hanging around.

You have something that is preventing the Sbie driver from installing. Check your system event log for related error msgs.
