Hi,

I cannot run IE from the default desktop shortcut. I am getting the following error messages :

SBIE1231 Initialization failed for process iexplore.exe [C0000038 / 66]
SBIE2314 Canceling process iexplore.exe
SBIE1231 Initialization failed for process iexplore.exe [C0000038 / 66]
SBIE2314 Canceling process iexplore.exe

Running Windows 10 latest update and Kaspersky Total Security 2018 - I believe there were only conflicts in KTS upto 2017

Help to resolve would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Andy

Hello AMD,

Kaspersky has been conflicting with Sandboxie for a while, here are some workarounds that you can try:
search.php?keywords=kaspersky&t=21539&sf=msgonly
Please try the workarounds in a new Sandbox with default settings.

Here's a link to our Known Conflicts section:
https://www.sandboxie.com/KnownConflicts#Antivirus

Let me know if you are still experiencing problems using the 2018 version and I will update our documentation.

Regards,
Barb.-

Hi,

I am getting somewhere but its still not right at the moment. I have added the SBIE folder to KTS exclusions but when I open the sandboxed web browser I am not getting any error messages flash up but the browser (chrome default) is just showing a mainly blank screen with a note saying "profile error occured - failed to load your profile"

NB i have "allow full direct access to Google Chrome profile folder" checked.

I am hoping someone can help to resolve.

Thanks

Andy

Hi,

Through further searching on the forum I found that the latest beta 5.23 has fixed my problem with blank screens in chrome browser.

I am really pleased I got it resolved. Works fine with KTS 2018 - just added the Sandboxie program folder to exclusions and all OK

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
