I have used Winpatrol and tons of other security programs in the past (before i had sbie) i also used those security apps in conjunction with sbie (a.k.a i was using a layered approach too) when i first discovered sandboxie and saw all the conflicts that can arise (yes even with Winpatrol). Also i didnt say it was "bloated and conflicting" i just said it takes up space (just like everything does, even notepad) and that it could cause conflicts with sandboxie (just as any program could with sandboxie, just look at all the program conflicts in the forum). Bah, what am i even "defending" myself for, my opinion is just as good as yours and vice versa, if you dont like it tough. :twisted:

no argument here. seems to me what some are fumbling with, is, there are a couple of perspectives, one is a bandaid approach (winpatrol) and one seeks solution (tzuks proposal). personally, i'll take a bandaid, until a cure is worked out.
