Firefox Sandboxed and Keepass with Kee extension

I have been having trouble with Firefox 52.* ESR Keepass and Kee (previously known as keefox) extension which allows integration of Keepass with Firefox.
It used to work fine but recently Kee and Keepass are constantly prompting for access when Firefox is running sandboxed. I do not run Keepass sandboxed BTW and previously that was not a problem. With Firefox not sandboxed I was asked once for the access but not again as it should remember it. That is not happening with Firefox & Kee when they are running sandboxed. It's driving me crazy constantly ie every half an hour or whenever my pc returns from standby, asking me to re-authorize the connection.
I do run multiple sandboxed Firefoxes and both are prompting for authorization at very regular intervals.
I am guessing that something has been changed with sandboxie which is causing these problems. The question is how do I make it so that this does not happen and it remembers the authorization?
I have tried changing the Resource Access->File Access->direct Access settings and I have added the kee extension folder in firefox profile folder. That has made no difference.
How do I solve this?

Um, doesn't Firefox 52.* ESR require KeeFox.
Welcome to Kee 2.0
The new name for KeeFox
Version 2.0 brings exciting new features and some enforced changes in order to support Firefox 57 and higher.
This add-on requires a newer version of Firefox (at least version 56.0). You are using Firefox 52.0.

---- Mini Update---
I am uninstalling this extension as it is keeping me from using Firefox (both ESR and Quantum) outside Sandboxie. It bombards me with prompts regarding Authorization every time I type something. I don't think this is a Sandboxie issue.

Hello Red.Dwarf
I am trying to find the download links for the addons you mentioned but they all seem to require the latest version of Firefox. I found Keefox 1.70 (which installed Keepass version 2.35), however I couldn't find a Kee version that is supported by FF 52. Even with version 1.70, the login (Hotmail) I created was scrambled and unusable (outside Sandboxie). Can you please clarify which versions are you using and where to get them from?
Did you have to make any changes to Firefox in order for the addons to work in the past?
Please post the results or running Resource Access Monitor:
https://www.sandboxie.com/ResourceAccessMonitor
If you want to try running it Sandboxed, here's a related thread:
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=22136
I am guessing that something has been changed with sandboxie which is causing these problems
Which version of Sandboxie are you using? Does it work fine on previous versions?
Does the issue follow you to a new Sandbox with default settings?
Regards,
Barb.-

Sorry about the confusion. Yes I am using Keefox, I looked at the Firefox Kee/Keefox extension page and used the name which is showed there.
I am using Keefox 1.7.2, Keepass 2.36 and Sandboxie 5.22 with Firefox 52.5.3 ESR updated from previous 52.x install outside sandboxes. Sandboxes were not deleted. This was downloaded from the other versions on the mozilla extension page.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/
This has been an issue for a while but the repeated authorisation has increased. It now requires authorisation about every half an hour when keepass is loaded. It requests authorisation when my PC returns from standby, it requests authorisation continually and is a real nuisance. Outside the sandbox it doesn't ask for authorisation if/when I run Firefox outside a sandbox, rarely and only as a trial or to upgrade.
Sandboxie resource access log, there are 2 logs, which I started prior to going into standby and then copied the logs.
2======================================= marks the 2nd log. I have just opened Keepass and there is an authorisation dialogue showing on this Sandboxed Firefox browser yet again.

I have just run a none sandboxed Firefox with a test profile which has keefox installed. NO authorisation requests! I have closed Keepass and re-run Keepass and I get an authorisation request from my other Sandboxed Firefox but not the none sandboxed Firefox or this sandboxed Firefox.
I have closed the none sandboxed Firefox and re-run it and no authorisations are requested. It is only sandboxed Firefoxes which have the problem. It seems to alternate between the two sandboxed Firefoxes.

Hello Red.Dwarf,
I installed Keefox 1.7.2, plus I upgraded KeePass to match your version -2.36- but the only one available was 2.37 (I was on 2.35 prior to that)...Found 2.36 on their website but it redirects to 2.37, so that's what I am using at the moment.
I am running Sandboxie latest beta 5.23.3 + FF ESR v52.5.3 (64bits) + Win 7 x64
I was receiving annoying amounts of authorization messages when I was using 2.35 (outside Sandboxie), but I have only received one since upgrading to 2.37 and rebooting the VM. See if updating to the latest version helps. You will probably have to delete your sandbox contents as well.
Regards,
Barb.-
