Sandboxie phoning home?

Tzuk if you have time can you come over to the link below where a fella is concerned that SB is phoning home.

make sure you download sandboxie from sandboxie.com and not some other site...

i traced it's actions and nowhere in the process a connection to the internet was made... also sandboxie is NOT listening on any ports for connections.

at work we use the latest zonealarm, and almost every compter (about 4 per day) ships with both, sandboxie and zonealarm. i've never seen ZA ask access for sandboxie to connect to the internet.

also i'm not aware of any auto-update function.

Sandboxie Control only connects to this Web site ocasionally (once a week, I think), it does that to check for a new version, and it always asks permission to do so before.

As street011 says, this can be verified by running any outbound-monitoring firewall.

Oneder, I appreciate you bringing this to attention here, and please feel free to keep doing so. But (personally) I'd rather discuss stuff here on this forum.
