Hello
I was using Sandboxie as my Chrome browser. A program did not look right so I clicked 'quick .....' I forgot the term. A box appeared about my clipboard not being big enough and I got so confused I removed Sandboxie because I was unable to solve it. Idid not want to infect my machine. What should I do when that happens so I can install Sandboxie again and run it as my Chrome browser?
T hank you

Hello
First, thank you to the moderator who pointed out my post was a duplicate and directed me to the appropriate site. I am new here and will have to get accustomed to the forum.
I read the material but I could only understand the last suggestion which was clearing the cache in Chrome which I will try. I certainly hope this works as I want to use Sandboxie.

It sounds like Chrome is made for Firefox as neither Chrome or Edge work with it.
I guess we can keep emptying the chrome cache or install Firefox. I keep Chrome as it works well with my phone.
Thanks for all the help but I think I will abandon SBIE due to these cons.

peterr,

If you have questions regarding how to proceed with any of the steps listed on the previous threads, we can help.
Just explain what is it that is not clear, so that we can assist.

Hello
I was trying to tell the forum that due to what I have read about the issues SBXIE has with Chrome, my personal experience with it, it appears it would be a good idea to work with Firefox but not Edge or Chrome.
Because I use Chrome to sync with my phone's bookmarks etc I will stick with Chrome(it came with the phone's OS) but have to drop SBIE.

peterr,

I am not sure what issues are you referring to exactly. Our Known Conflicts section only shows one entry for Chrome (related to the fact that Chrome does not support NPAPI plugins).
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?Kno ... icts#Flash Plugin on Chrome

We do not support Edge at this time:
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?Kno ... ts#Windows 10

As stated before, if you need assistance setting things up, we can help. But you need to provide actual examples of what is going on.

Regards.

A box keeps appearing saying the content is too large for the clipboard.

peterr,

The clipboard message is related to the fact that you are downloading something that is too big and the Sandbox is asking to increase the size limit. The link I provided before shows 3 ways to correct it, have you tried following those steps? If you double click on the message, it should allow you to copy the files.

Here are some FAQ links that will help you understand how does this work:

To be honest I have clicked on the line but was taken to a odd place I have forgotten. I did read the rest and think the program is fine but I am not capable of using it with Chrome anyway. I use Chrome as it is synced with my phone. Thank you for your kind patience. I may come back and read the caveat and links more carefully.
