I have tried turning off some of the on guard settings but the only thing that works is totally disabling on guard itself. I have also tried this with Sandboxie .05
This is not a huge deal to me now that I hear Spysweeper is working but if anyone knows anything I would like to turn it on.
It caused quiet a few problems but the main one I remember is that sandboxie will not launch programs from the sandboxie menu itself.
Thanks.
P.S. Great software Tzuk

Please be more clear about what is OnGuard, and where I can download it, if there is anything specific I need to do with it, and what is the problem that I'm supposed to see...

And then I'll be glad to try it and fix anything that needs fixing.

OnGuard is a service built into Spyware Doctor (
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/), the point of OnGuard is to act as Realtime protection, catching anything that tries to install on your computer in realtime, hope that helps.

Windows 7 SP1 x64, Sandboxie v3.70 x64 with Experimental Protection, GnuPG, OTR (Off-The-Record), Sticky Password, My Brain.

Then I'll try Spyware Doctor tomorrow, unless someone says there's no problem anymore.

Its only on the newest version of Spyware Doctor that causes problems.

I tried Spyware Doctor that I downloaded today, it's version 5.0.
I had no problems with Sandboxie, but Spyware Doctor itself remained in the "starting" state indefinately.
I think you should try it again yourself and see if the problem is still there.

I think we are having the opposite effects on our computers because I am not having any problems with spyware doctor its starts fast and just like its supposed to although when activated and I click on the sandboxie UI and run sandboxed - default browser the only thing that starts inside the sandbox is start.exe and the browser never opens. I just tried it again to make sure I wasnt making any mistakes and Its still doing it.[/img]
I guess so... But if I can't reproduce, it means I can't fix. Sorry.
