Hi,
I am using Sandboxie to guard Firefox. I just added a profile which allows me to use the same Firefox profile within my Admin and my limited account. Whenever I try to use Firefox from my admin account the profile manager opens and wants me to edit a new profile. None of the existing two profiles is shown. Since I moved the path to the profiles, I think it must be some sort of settings problem.
Can you give me a clue on what to do. Thanks

If you have 2 logon names, I assume you also have 2 copies of "profiles.ini" - 1 for each logon name.
Assuming "C" Drive, the file is normally located at:
C:\Documents and Settings\(logon name)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles.ini
It may help to examine each of the files.
My Fx profile is located at C:\Profiles\Firefox\Paul so my profiles.ini shows:
[General]
StartWithLastProfile=1
[Profile0]
Name=default
IsRelative=1
Path=Profiles/85v5ejc7.default
[Profile1]
Name=Paul
IsRelative=0
Path=C:\Profiles\Firefox\Paul
Default=1
Also, it may interest you to know that Firefox will accept a command line parameter that tells it where to find the profile to use. See this document Starting Firefox or Thunderbird with a specified profile

Problem Resolved
Hi Paul,
thanks for your advice. I solved the problem. I had to specify the location of the bookmark file by typing the full path name in the configuration file and I added a openfilepath line to the Default Box opening access to the profiles.ini file of the admin user acount.
Thanks again and Tzuk, keep up the good work.
