Volume control or isolation

Post by Chronosphere » Tue Dec 28, 2010 1:02 pm

Hello there,

Some applications seem to hijack the volume of applications, is there any way to isolate this? Like a web browser seems to want to play an obnoxious advert, it would be nice to be able to isolate the volume control in this application.

I know Vista can do this but was wondering if the same can be done with Sandboxie.

Other applications seem to detect when you change the volume and this is annoying, is there a way to provide a 'fake system volume' to application in Sandboxie?

You are asking for sound mixing functionality in Sandboxie, I feel like it is completely unrelated to what Sandboxie does. So as far as me doing this feature request and putting it into Sandboxie, I'm afaid the answer is no. But maybe someone else will like your idea.
