Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.2)
For your information:
I did clean Win7 installation yesterday and upgraded to Win10 RTM. Next step was clean Win10 installation.
The build is already released as .esd. Otherwise MS would be in big trouble at 29.07. You can download it from windowsupdate.com 10240.16384.150709-1700<cut off>_9d40e15f430ab89a1eabb165acbf40c9f07d18bb.esd. However when you decrypt & decompress the file to get iso, hashes will be unique.
My previous installation was upgrade from Insider builds so it could be a little bit buggy. So I'll let you know if those issues happen again. (I'm still curious if "square" font is Sandboxie or Adguard issue).

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.2)
100% reproducible Firefox hang under Sandboxie with LastPass under Windows 10 RTM build 10240.
Version: 5.01.2 (64-bit) registered.
Reproducible test case:
1. Install firefox with fresh profile with direct access to profile folder.
2. Run Firefox sandboxed.
3. Install LastPass addon from mozilla addons.
4. Restart firefox.
5. Click the lastpass icon added in the toolbar.
Result:
Firefox hangs, this does not happen when running unsandboxed, works fine in 4.20 in Windows 8.1
Expected result:
LastPass displays its login window.
Context:
Windows 10 RTM build 10240 fully updated 64-bit
Avira Free Antivirus in background
nVidia K2000M Quadro, driver installed from windows update version 353.62
ThinkPad W530.
Attached Sandboxie resource access log. Note the clink dll is a cmd enhancement tool which uses DLL injection to enhance cmd.exe (https://mridgers.github.io/clink/), however I think it is irrelevant to this hang.

We will take a look at it, however a lot of things are fluid at the moent as the release for Win 10 is a day from Public release and both FF and it's 3rd party add-ons are changing as we speak (as well as SBIE) to meet all the new requirements. At this time, we're focusing on major browser compatibility (FF, Chrome, IE, Edge, Opera..) and Office Suites and major programs. We do know that FF works in Win 10 w/ SBIE (minus a font issue that's related to Win 10) and some other minor bugs. As for 3rd party extensions in FF within SBIE, it will be looked at, but not a priority at the moment. Once Win 10 is released and well as the programs above come out of Beta and directly support Win 10, we will regroup and take a look at everything again. It might all self resolve in the coming days and immediate future releases.
Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.2)
Upgraded to W10 (from W7 64 bits), Firefox 39.0 wont start sandboxed (beta 5.01.2).
No error shown Firefox 39.0 (I see a Werfault in the sandbox).

Another bug (seems to be missing or changed functions in "shadow" DLL functions):
Download FlashPlayer projector (flashplayer_18_sa.exe) and try to run it sandboxed.

In version 5.01.3 has not solved the problem with closing Sandboxie when you try to run the game. It is sad. ![Sad :(](images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.2)
The Beta at this point is support Win 10 and major browser platforms and office suites and commonly used programs. As windows 10 is only 24 hours "Live" it may take time to fix this particular game..and this is a change it might not as Win 10 is a major release and compatibility is limited as this point.mishazajceff wrote:In version 5.01.3 has not solved the problem with closing Sandboxie when you try to run the game. Could you tell about when will the final release Sandboxie 5.01?Craig@Invincea wrote:The Beta at this point is support Win 10 and major browser platforms and office suites and commonly used programs. Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01)
I just can't run Microsoft Edge into a sandboxed browser. It only opens from the shortcuts in the desktop, not even from the origin folder (that is:unsandboxed, of course). Wish this could be fixed soon!!Craig@Invincea wrote:Yes, Running edge...In Metro mode at least...isn't fully supported as of yet.Dun wrote:Upgrade from 4.20 using combined installer was possible but I had to install 5.01 twice to get rid of issues. No Firefox errors at startup.
Without Sandboxie it's like without a hand.Thank you!
There is a bug. If you force MS Edge C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_* the MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe and try to execute it then empty sandbox is created, Edge closes before it loads and Windows Store app opens instead. Everything out of the box. Forcing both MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe and MicrosoftEdge.exe does not change anything

Edge browser, since it's a Metro app, is not yet supported at this time.

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.2)
There is no ETA at this time. We've seen other major 3rd party providers state "several" weeks for close to 100% Support. We plan on another Beta 5.01.3 release in the coming days. However, a full 100% stable Win 10 release is down the road. I just can't promise a date.mishazajceff wrote:Could you tell about when will the final release Sandboxie 5.01?Craig@Invincea wrote:The Beta at this point is support Win 10 and major browser platforms and office suites and commonly used programs.
