Microsoft Office 2013/16 - Cannot find your license [SOLVED]

Microsoft Office 2013/16 - Cannot find your license [SOLVED]
Windows 10 1607 x64
Windows Defender
Microsoft Office 2013
Sandboxie 5.18 x64
When I run Outlook 2013 under Sandboxie the application closes after a few moments with the message "Microsoft office cannot find your license for this application". Outlook runs fine when not under Sandboxie. Is there something that I should add to the Sandboxie configuration file to fix this?

Re: Microsoft Outlook 2013
Hello Rmar,
Are you using the paid version of Sandboxie, or the free one?
Is Outlook set as your Email reader in the Sandbox? :

Do other Office products work Sandboxed?
Regards,
Barb.-

Re: Microsoft Outlook 2013
I'm using the paid version of Sandboxie and I've set Outlook as my email reader. Everything worked just fine until the Windows 10 1607 update.
Barb,
I just tried with Word and Excel (I don't normally run these under Sandboxie) and I get the same problem with the Microsoft license. Both applications are okay when not being run under Sandboxie. Also, I just updated from Windows 10 1607 to 1702 and still I have the license problem.

Re: Microsoft Outlook 2013
Hello Rmar ,
Does the issue follow you to a new Sandbox?
Is there an antivirus installed?
Do you have the Office templates activated in your Sandbox? What's the version of your MS Office Suite?
If possible, please post the output of Resource Access Manager (use the "Code" button in the forum to format it).

Re: Microsoft Outlook 2013
Barb,
Office version is Office Professional Plus 2013 with all updates installed.
I have a dedicated sandbox for Outlook and I enabled the Office Outlook template in Sandboxie >settings >applications >email reader.
I don't generally run other Office applications sandboxed, but I tried Word and Excel, each in a new and dedicated sandbox. I don't see any specific templates for these applications in the Sandboxie Settings menu.
I do not have any antivirus software other than Windows Defender.
Below is the output of Resource Access Manager with Outlook running in the sandbox -

Re: Microsoft Outlook 2013
Hello Rmar,
What is the exact Office 2013 version that you are running? Is it up-to-date?
If you have any addins running with Office, try disabling them and see if that helps.
Also, be sure to have the Windows and Office Licensing Services template in your Sandbox.
I'll try to get a copy of Office 2013 in the meantime, see if I can test/repro the issue (no promises).
Regards,
Barb.-

Barb,
I am using Office Professional Plus 2013 64-bit version (15.0.4919.1002) with all the available updates. I do not have any add-ons installed and I have the Windows and Office Licensing Services template in the sandbox.

Microsoft Office Outlook 2016 - Unlicensed Product
Hello all!
I have a problem with Microsoft Office Outlook 2016 and sandboxie. When I run Office Outlook in the sandbox, it says the product is unlicensed. The product is licensed however (I am a student and can use Office 365 Education for free because of my university) and if I launch Word, which runs outside the sandbox it correctly shows that the product is in fact licensed. Before the Microsoft Windows 10 creators update I did not have this issue, but I do know. How can I fix this?

Re: Microsoft Office Outlook 2016 - Unlicensed Product
I have got the same problem.
Windows 10 x64 Creators Update
Sandboxie (Licensed) v5.18
Office 2016 MSI installation
The following templates configured in the sandbox for outlook (among others), have tried both with and without them but same results:
Template=OfficeClickToRun
Template=IExplore_Favorites_RecoverFolder
Template=Office_Outlook
Did not have any issues before update.
Outlook works fine at first, it starts up and sync all messages. After a few minutes (max 5) the attached dialog pops up and when you press OK outlook is closed.

All,
I have combined the posts as they are all related to the same issue.
Still looking into this, no luck reproducing it yet.

Re: Microsoft Office 2013/16 - Cannot find your license
In an effort to assist, I'll post some additional info. I am using Windows 10 Home version 1703, build 15063.250, 64 bits. I have Microsoft Office 2016 installed, 32 bits, with office reporting I am using Office 365 ProPlus, current-channel, version 1703 (build 7967.2139 click-to-run). I am using the paid version of sandboxie 5.18, but used a beta version for a bit after the Windows 10 Creator's update, since the normal version wouldn't work (because of the update). As a virus scanner I use the free version of Avast! All software is up to date.
Like the others reported: the problem began after the Windows 10 Creator's update. It worked just fine before that. At that point I was using Office 2013 x64 Professional Plus. In an effort to sort out the problem I deleted Office, discovered that I could get Office 2016 for free and installed that one instead. Still, the issue persists.
I have a dedicated sandbox for Outlook and I do not have Outlook set as email reader in that sandbox (on purpose, all my mail uses IMAP or exchange so the mail is also stored serverside so I can wipe without losing mails). In the software compatibility I have the following checked:
In addition, after closing Word I noticed it kept running in the sandbox (though the Window was gone). After about ten minutes I closed it using "Terminate programs". Launching Word again in the temporary sandbox showed the exact same behaviour.

Hello Bliepo,
I see the blank options.I'll make the devs aware.
We are not able to reproduce the license issue. Still looking into.
As for the lingering process, we are aware:

Hello Barb@Invincea,
If there is any news or updates could you please share them here? I know things like this can take time and you guys are working as hard as you can, but I am curious to hear whether there already has been some progress.

Re: Microsoft Office 2013/16 - Cannot find your license
Hello Bliepo,
We are unable to reproduce the license issue. It is probably related to corrupted Sandbox files, if using a new Sandbox (or deleting the contents) fixes the problem.
So far, nobody else confirmed (aside from you) whether that works or not.
As for the second issue, the blank theme options work if you cycle thru them and select something (without being able to see what you are choosing).
We will update this post as soon as new information becomes available.

Re: Microsoft Office 2013/16 - Cannot find your license
Hello Barb
I have tried deleting the Sandboxie program completely from my computer (including the configuration file) and making a fresh installation. The problem with outlook licensing was not solved by this. If the problem was corrupt Sandboxie files, would a re-installaion not have fixed it?
