Rockmelt Browser issue

Love the rockmelt browser, but i get an "email reader rockmelt.exe" is not configured to run sandboxed.

Iwould really appreciate if someone out there could tell me howto config sandboxie inorder not to get this error.

It's apparently acting as something like an email reader as well as a browser, in the same way that Opera is a browser and email reader program in one.
Does Rockmelt do any email functions, and if so, do you know where the files for that would be saved on the hard disk?

Also, I assume that 'Rockmelt for PC' has now been released and is available for downloading.

Yes, rockmelt is out of beta now. if you use facebook a lot or use RSS feeds, its a great browser to use. Im still not understanding why sandboxing it isnt allowing the browser to work.

Programs that appear to perform email functions receive a warning that they have not been configured to run sandboxed, for the reason that emails that are downloaded into the sandbox will be lost when the sandbox contents are deleted.

The usual method of 'configuring' such a program is to use a File Access > Direct Access setting that specifies the program's .exe name, and the folder location (outside of the sandbox) where the email files are kept on disk. This is assuming that the program is installed outside of the sandbox.
That's why I asked if the program does, in fact, save anything like emails to disk.

For a program that doesn't actually save any emails to disk, any Direct Access setting for that .exe program should satisfy the need to 'configure' it. It's not necessary to specify an email folder in the setting.

There are usually bookmarks, passwords, cookies, etc, that the user might want to save out of the sandbox.
Simply specifying a Direct Access setting for any of those items, using the program's .exe name in the setting, will probably allow the browser to run without generating that message.
Sandbox Settings > Resource Access > File Access > Direct Access
"Add Program" button: (the browser's .exe name)
"Add" button": (select a file or folder outside of the sandbox, that's used by the browser for saving bookmarks - as an example)

I haven't tried this myself with that browser. You'll have to try it to see if that works.

First off thank you so much for taking the time to help. I added the folder that contained rockmelt to the direct file access list and now it works.
