Sandboxie doesn't work under Windows 8

Sandboxie doesn't work under Windows 8

Because I have upgraded from W7 to W8 I can't start sandboxie and I can't uninstall it !
Is there a solution for this problem so that I can use sandboxie again under W8 ?

update: I am working with Windows 8 Pro (64bit)
Sandboxie V3.44 (64bit)

3.44 is to old. You need to update to 3.74 to have any hope of using Sandboxie with Windows 8.

Or, did you mistype your current version number and meant to type 3.74 ?
If so, can you find the "Build number" for your Win 8 version and post that here?

I can't check the version because I can't start it under W8
or how do I check the version without starting it?

I have just tried again to install again v3.74 without uninstalling the old version
and its working now (option choosen: overwriting the already installed one)

Sandboxie 3.74 is not compatible with Windows 8 Pro version

Hallo, I have the same problem. I just reinstalled OS form Windows 7 to windows 8 Pro.
Windows reports that Sandboxie has problem with compatibility. Sandboxie is running but I am not sure if right.
Any ideas?
