Links open in background

Hello. Im using SB version 4.17.2.
When clicking a web link in Windows Live Mail IE opens in the background instead of the foreground. When I disable SB IE opens up front, when I enable SB IE links open behind Windows Live Mail. Is there a simple fix for this? Id like to continue using SB and Windows Live Mail.
