Anyone seeing weird GUI PROXY notice with Chrome?

Sandboxie 5.16
Chrome 55.0.2883.87 m

Sometimes on this computer we see weird messages from Chrome, a lot of 'bits' can't be started and occasional GUI PROXY messages and other messages. Today there was a slew of GUI proxy messages, and Sandboxie Control was blinking. When I started it it wanted to start a service manager or something and so I approved that in the UAC. I restarted Chrome and everything seems ok now. Is anyone else having problems with Chrome? The bits notices have been an annoyance for some time, the GUI PROXY messages I rarely see and when I do they're infrequent and not repeated.

Edit: I should mention I use Sandboxie on other computers where I don't have this problem, but none of them are Windows 8.1.

You can eliminate the bits messages by disabling Drop rights in Sandbox settings.

Thanks but the account is an admin account so I'd rather just use drop rights.

Do you have any AV or Toolbars installed? If so, try disabling them for testing purposes (and/or add SBIE executables to the AV exclusion list).

I'll check about the AV. I think MalwareBytes anti-malware may be installed, but that's it. Here is the log, it all happened within a minute:

cornflake, I used to get sometimes while running KMPlayer the Sandboxie message 2203 GUIPROXY in my XP. After closing the message, the player continued to work fine. So, after a while I hid the message and never had a problem. You can try hiding the message for Chrome and see how it goes.

Thank you Bo. For the moment I'm going to leave it on to see if I notice anything strange going on the next time it happens. Unfortunately when it happens there's usually someone in front of the keyboard who's not very computer literate, so I don't know how likely I'll be to catch it.

You should be OK hiding the message. You would of seen something not working right with Chrome by now and reported it, I think.

In the case of KMPlayer, I got the message only when fast forwarding very high quality videos, and sometimes when playing videos that were probably too heavy to be played in the old XP. So, hiding the message worked out perfectly for me.
