And it's a shame because I wanted to follow changes in the registry by a program that I'm installing.
So what's driving Inctrl5 nuts? It's a freeware so could you check it out? Just install through a sandboxed Inctrl5 any program that modifies the registry.

Add the sandbox root key to the InCtrl5 ignore list:
Launch RegEdit through InCtrl5
Find the sandbox key below HKEY_USERS
Use Grab Key in InCtrl5
But make sure you specify the root key itself and not some key below it, for example, add Sandbox_lwc_DefaultBox, not Sandbox_lwc_DefaultBox\machine.
It's still going to run a bit slower than unsandboxed InCtrl5, but it won't take forever anymore.
