Windows Explorer problem

The problem I'm describing below probably has nothing to do with Sandboxie in particular, but if anyone has any idea about it, please do let me know.

I'm running Windows XP with Firefox set as the default browser. When I try open explorer (Ctrl+w), it opens a new Firefox window inside the sandbox with the URL
"http://www.c.com/WINDOWS/explorer.exe /e".

I'm guessing this has to do with Firefox being assigned to open something that it shouldn't be. Its rather frustrating and Google hasn't been very helpful.

I'd appreciate any feedback.

I tried resetting IE6 back as the default browser, but now on Ctrl+W'ing, IE starts with the URL
http://%22http//c:/WINDOWS/explorer.exe"%20/e
along with the server not found error message.

Try this experiment: In a command prompt, type

start \

(Note, this is supposed to be the Windows start program, not the Sandboxie start program.)

What happens?
