Ok, so it seems everyone is finally nice and happy now since tzuk introduced this way of testing Sandboxie on a domain setup. Thats good, expecially since poor tzuk got smashed to high hell with all kinds of "You suck for restricting domain use!" or "Screw this, im using 3.02 now!" or "I'll continue using 3.20 since I like it, but im mad I cant use this on my domain pc, please change this tzuk!".
See guys, yet another reason to appreciate tzuk like Mitch said, since tzuk truly is one of the greatest developers who also happens to like to (unlike most devs/companies), actually make his users happy!

Guest, if you do not see any reason to apologize for a comment like;

then fine, don't apologize for it. You got your 'fundamental right' restored, so I guess you are good to go.tzuk probably started with SB as truly free in the early days and as the interest and consumers' demand get stronger, licensing and profitability seeps in and etc.

This thread is about domain restriction which did not exist in version before 3.02, let's not drift off the main topic. Who start the march is secondary, tzuk understood the reasoning and made the necessary correction in version 3.20.01 which further convinced us that he is a good developer, kudos !MitchE323 wrote:Well, before you start your Million Man March or anything, it was you....... and one other poster.Thanks to many guests and brothers for speaking up on this restriction
Guest, Are you asking me to accept that Tzuk was wrong, and your pointing it out convinced Tzuk that he was wrong, and then he made the "necessary" correction? That is frankly, not my call. I can see how grateful you are by your thankyou and such. It was a full 48 hours between Tzuk announcing his change on Nov 17 at 8:56pm and my next post on Nov 19 at 9:32pm. You could have thanked him immediately. After all, Tzuk did react immediately. Don't you agree? In any event, this thread was done a long time ago and if you are all good, then I am all good. Enjoy it.

mitche323, I was away for that 48 hours that you mentioned but the moment I knew and had the opportunity, I expressed my thanks to tzuk openly. This is really off-topic and I shall not bother to reply to such posts from hereon. All are happy with the domain restriction removal now and enjoy, take care !
"interesting program.."
"free.. cool"

"hm sbie9407.. surf forums.. ah not so free with domain"
..too bad you didn't mention that in the first place. I think especially in a domain environment a sandbox can be useful. If I want a non-domain member I can always set up a virtual machine.. sandiebox could save everyone some work here. If it was really totally "free" (donations on a voluntarily basis) as it claims to be..
And for the statistics.. I'm running a 3 computer domain (this already includes the domain controler) at home :-/ So it would still be personal use.
