Options for starting specifc SBs and SB-installed progs?

Post by Unknown_User_693 » Thu Mar 22, 2007 8:17 pm

Hi!

I spent the whole day testing Sandboxie and was very impressed by the existing functionality. There were also some points which I couldn't figure out:

- is there a way to start a program that was only installed inside a sandbox without having to use the sandbox explorer ("explore contents option") to find and start it?

- are there any start.exe options to specify which sandbox to run a program in?

ForceProcess option for specifying sandbox to run programs i

Just had another look at the help page for sandboxie.ini and came accross ForceProcess which I must have overlooked yesterday. Although this is no commandline solution, it does what I was looking for: start a program (installed outside of the sandbox) in a specified sandbox.

I'd still be glad if someone could confirm that there is no easier way to start a program installed within the sandbox other than finding it via "Explore Contents".

The "Run Sandboxed" menu has a couple of other options. You can type the full path (Run Any Program) or browse your desktop and start menu (Run from Start Menu).

That's about the same as what you have outside the sandbox: Browsing folders or shortcut menus, or typing a full path.
