I recently switched from FF to Chrome and still have some issues understanding some of the features of Chrome.
Using the registered version of SB 3.72 on XP, I normally use 2 sandboxes. 1 default box is for normal surfing etc and one specific sandbox for banking or sensitive stuff. Both are set to discard everything once I close the sandbox and especially with banking I always start with a fresh sandbox. This worked quite well with FF but I just noticed that when using Chrome my Finance Sandbox does remember my log in name for my banking site. I am not sure if I have the config wrong for the sandbox - currently it's set to automatically delete contents of sandbox, all browsers are set as forced programs. Under Applications I have not even ticked anything to allow Chrome to make changes outside the sandbox.
What am I doing wrong?
Sandboxie & Chrome - not remembering data
If you used unsandboxed Chrome even once, to log into your banking site, then your log-in name was probably stored in a cookie outside of the sandbox.
In that case, the sandboxed Chrome will be able to read it when it runs.
So you would need to delete that unsandboxed cookie.
