Sandboxie file .ini

Hi,

I want to modify the file Sandboxie.ini in C:\windows using Vista 32 but Vista don't let me save the file that I have modified.

Please let me know

You need to run Notepad as an administrator (there should be a right-click action to "Run as Administrator"), and then open the Sandboxie.ini file. Although I suggest you reconsider, and use Sandboxie Control to make changes there, if possible.

Hi,

I've used Sandboxie Control "edit configuration" but don't work windows don't let me change or modify the file.

how resolve?

Are you the Administrator on your OS? If not, then thats the problem right there...

Hi,

Yes, I'm the administrator, I've tried to modify also the ini file using notepad but same don't work Vista let me edit but don't save.

Is it being used by other processes (like Sandboxie...if I recall there were 2 processes to terminate) that you have not terminated using Task Manager?

ebu53794, being logging in as the administrator is not enough if you have UAC enabled. Make sure you run notepad with right-click "Run as Administrator".
