Just curious, how does Delete Contents work on Sandboxie?
Ie, is it a normal delete, in which files can be recovered, or is it a secure erase? If the former, then could the latter be made available instead or too?

The default in Sandboxie is to use a non-secure Windows delete to remove sandboxes.

The current version of Sandboxie looks for a registry key to determine if you would rather use secure deletion using a third-party, external application like the free Eraser 5.8 ( http://www.heidi/ie/eraser ) or Microsoft's free SDelete 1.51 ( http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysint ... elete.mspx ). You can read about the registry key entry in the Sandboxie Help at http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?SecureDeleteSandbox .

If you don't want to mess with the registry, you can use a batchfile I created to erase sandboxes after closing all sandboxed programs.

You can find information on the registry key entry and on my batch file in the following two threads:

http://sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=650

http://sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=479

If you have questions after looking at those, feel free to post again -- but it would be better if you would just add a reply to one of the threads referenced above so we don't fork this discussion.

Thanks. Eraser works fine now. Sorry, I didn't notice the earlier threads.
