There is no way we can test all the various printer drivers and configurations from here, so I need your help in testing this as I want to finish it up and get it released into 4.18 asap....
Printing on our networked printer (Brother MFC) works flawless (no error messages). But printing to a PDF file with the well-known "PDFCreator" fails! Double-clicking on SBIE1319 doesn't help. The "PDFCreator" dialog never shows up, regardless how often I restart the print. I hope you can fix this. Thanks!

Windows 8.1 x64
Sandboxie 4.17.6
Chrome 42.0.2311.152 m (64-bit)
Bullzip 10.12.2363 Community Edition
http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/download.php (scroll down for installer)

First session attempt (right-click on page and select Print) fails with (from Event Viewer):
[DebugLog] Unable to open log file for writing.

Filename: C:\Users\Nick\AppData\Local\Temp\Bullzip\PDF Printer\TEMP_b8a2a4f3-ceff-4f6d-ae14-5f12271e5d4d\port.log

Make sure users have write access to this folder.
Second session attempt (right-click on page again and select Print) works and the PDF is saved to the desktop.

@Curt
Is it possible to adjust the print spooler write access ourselves? like we could find out where the driver needs to write its temp files via Resource Access Monitor and then allow that specific path in a menu setting dedicated to this. that way the user can fix the problem themselves instead of relying on you to fix it.

What if I allow the spooler to write to any OpenFilePath?

That makes sense, though i think it would be better if instead of it being able to write on any OpenFilePath, we could also add spooler service as an app in the list and apply the OpenFilePath setting to it separately. i would also suggest that you undo the ease of restriction that you made for spooler service to allow to write to its own temp folder or at least give us an option to disable it(like it could be added in global Software Compatibility list) so we could ensure nothing without our explicit permission could leak out of sandboxie.

Google Chrome has just released their build 43.0.2357.65 as their stable version.

Sandboxie does not have much time left to finalize their version 4.18 before more users on version 4.16 will complain that their new Chrome browser does not work anymore :P

4.17.6 + Chrome 43 + W8.1 x64

What does the detail mean
SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service: *GUIPROXY_00000001 - chrome.exe [FF000000]

Message occurs upon open Chrome and open Chrome New Tabs = same SBIE message same detail

Why does Logout drop out to Login. and I have to Logon again.

If I Hide the Message. How do I bring Message back to test and does Hide only Hide 2203 with *GUIPROXY_00000001 - chrome.exe [FF000000]

Or, does Hide. Hide all 2203. Hide all Messages....?

Please put the DMP files somewhere so I can download it.

Chrome won't even allow me to download PDF Creator from pdfforge -- is says it contains malware. Why are you using this package?

EDIT: Firefox won't allow me to download from pdfforge either. I suggest you try another pdf creator.

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry, but Chrome tells nonsense (as quite often). And Firefox starts the download without any problem. Do you really not know "PDFCreator"?! It has millions of active users and it is one of the most used free PDF creators! Please try the download again. Thanks.

Statement from pdfforge: "What gets detected is the offer screen with optional offers which is displayed during the setup, but this isn't malware (nor is it detected as malware), as nothing is hidden and all offers can be deselected by the user. The setup file was scanned before uploading it to our servers and is safe to use."
