Epson Printer fix: 2 Problems on my PC

Post by Unknown_User_701 » Sat Apr 07, 2007 11:12 am

I used the Epson Printer configuration adjustment listed in another post below. It causes 2 errors for me:

1. I get about a 45 second delay when printing anything from on-line

2. When I do print something on-line, the processes in the sandbox will not terminate automatically. So even though I have Sandboxie set to autodelete the sandbox when I close IE, it will not do so until I manually terminate sandboxed processes. The processes that will not automatically terminate are:

sandboxieRpcss.exe
sabdboxieDcomLaunch.exe
E_S10MT1.exe
E_S10MT1.exe (this process appears twice)

Using V2.84.

Yes, there is a noticeable delay but no hangs,
For my Epson (CX3200), three processes ran sandboxed. I used lingerprocess in sandboxie.ini as follows:

LingerProcess=E_DPPE03.EXE
LingerProcess=E_S10MT2.EXE
LingerProcess=E_S10RN2.EXE

Only E_DPPE03.EXE would not terminate for me when quitting sandboxie
(the other two did terminate after a while but I added them just to be sure.)
YMMV

Adding the appropriate processes to the "linger process" took care of the delay in terminating processes.

I had to add:

E_S10MT1.EXE and E_S10RN1.EXE

Now, those processes terminate promptly. I still have the delay in print jobs (the delay is about 45 seconds).
