Is there any utility or other way to, for example, pop open a window to get a reference of the 'Special Folders' in use on a given system, without having to get into Regedit (hoping you don't accidentally hit a wrong key) and work your way to User Shell Folders? I never quite trust myself to do this late at night.
We need these names, correct to the letter and space, in order to edit sandboxie.ini, and I know I have them all written down somewhere ... but it would be so nice to go directly to the configuration editing job without first opening Regedit or hunting for a scrap of paper.
Also, I believe these names can be different for different systems, should someone have changed the defaults (and later forgot).
If a mistake is made in the configuration, could Sandboxie let something through that should have been stopped? If so, correct configuration is very important.
Any ideas?
Is there a simple external utility that does this, or could there be a function in Sandboxie that would automatically load the Paste buffer, after the user browses to file (or, whatever) to which they want to open (or close) a path?
Shortcut to view 'Special Folders' names for a given system?
1. Other than %Personal% and %Favorites%, and possibly %AppData% (though the recommended sandbox location, starting from the next version, will be C:\SANDBOX), what others do you need?
2. The next version of Sandboxie has "Browse For Folder" dialogs all over the place, and automatically translates selections like C:\Documents and Settings\bah\My Documents into %Personal%, so you wouldn't have to type these yourself.

Perfect, that will make Sandboxie much easier to configure.
Until the new version, now I see that by setting the Shell Folders Key as a RegEdit "Favorite" it is possible to go to it directly, with one click, double-check whatever I want, then Exit. Never used RegEdit Favorites before, and this I can manage even when half asleep.
