How do I temporarily disable Sandboxie? [SOLVED]

I am trying to install "lastpass" as a new extension in Chrome, and although it appears to be working every time when I close out of Chrome and get back in it's gone. I'm wondering if I need to do it outside of Sandboxie? When I close out of Chrome after installing the extension, I'm not prompted by Sandboxie to save it...but maybe it's because I'm not surfing the web...? I've tried signing in to google as well, and synching everything in settings...same results.

Anyhow, I'm wondering if I try to do this without having Sandboxie running, I can finally permanently install that extension. How do I temporarily disable Sandboxie so I can do this?

Also, Chrome keeps asking me if I want it to be my default browser, and I keep saying yes, but it never happens. Maybe same problem?

I'm on a 64-bit Windows 10 machine and don't want to use Edge or IE.

You should install software outside the Sandbox, then run it Sandboxed.

If you have Chrome forced to run Sandboxed, you can follow these steps to disable Sandboxie's forced programs:
Go to your taskbar (next to the date/time), find the Sandboxie Icon
Right - click --> Disable Forced Programs
Be sure to re-enable after you are done making changes to your browsers.

Thanks Barb--you are a lifesaver! It worked perfectly!

I was able to just do the "Ctrl-Shift" when opening Chrome to make my changes/additions, so Chrome was automatically re-sandboxed when I later got back in. =)

I tell you the other day I felt like I was just beating my head against the wall! Nice to get in and just do it this time!
