Option to use a built-in RAMDisk as the Container Folder...

Option to use a built-in RAMDisk as the Container Folder, instead of a location on the hard disk. I know there are separate apps that offer RAMDisk functionality, but it would be much easier if it was all integrated into SandBoxie, with the user just having to enable an option to use a RAMDisk.

The benefit of this is that the contents would never be written to disk, and so anything created by a sandbox app could not be recovered later by scanning the disk with forensics tools. I know you can securely delete the files in the Container folder, but on NTFS, this is not always sufficient as you can end up with fragments of that file elsewhere, which will not be erased.

Having the sandbox option to use a built-in RAMDisk (with it configured to use non-pageable memory, so it will never be wriiten out to the pagefile on disk), would mean that all data was only held in memory so it could not be recovered later.

See attached link for sample source code to a basic RAMDisk

The Feature Requests Forum has been a great source for ideas to improve Sandboxie. Over the years, people have suggested many of the features in Sandboxie that many people now find useful. Below is a summary of recurring suggestions and requests that have not yet been fully addressed (if at all), or that are not likely to be addressed.

Store sandbox in memory (RAM) to improve performance

Use RAM disk software to create a memory drive, then configure Sandboxie to store the sandbox on that drive.
