Installed fine on Win 7x64. I held my breath on my WIn 10x64 VM Build 14279, which was fine, but there was a new build 14291. But it was also fine.

Hi,

I can not use LINE messenger (http://cdn.line-apps.com/client/win/new/LineInst.exe).
The latest version (4.5.0.873) can not login, the program is just shut down.

How are you installing this Program? In the sandbox? If so, install the program on your host and run as sandboxed.

This program has not been tested with SBIE.

Do you have any antivirus or antimalware installed?

You also provably need to give the program access to resource that SBIE isn't allowing, by default. You can see what it may need by running Resource Access Monitor in Sandboxie control > file.

Hangouts for example needs mic and other access by using this in the SBIE.ini template:

OpenPipePath=\Device\QWAVEdrv

Comodo has known issues with SBIE. You'll need to do this here regarding Comodo http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... 11&t=21539 . If that doesn't work, it may have to be disabled or removed.

That's usually related to Windows or A/V detecting something by mistake.
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... cb619788b7
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... c36e2ec0c0

Not related to SBIE.

Thank you for your help :)

think i'll have to look at alternative firewalls
any recommendations for ones that play nice with sandboxie ? (and can be set to prompt me on all outgoing connections)

Hmm. Some use Comodo. Others have used AVG & Panda (which seem to be ok). Then, you also have Windows's Firewall. I have a hardware FW, so I don't mess with them too much.

I know in the distant past, ZoneAlarm was popular, but it seemed not to play nice w/ SBIE. It still doesn't from the reports I've seen.

Emsisoft's EIS which includes a firewall works fine with SBIE
