Sandboxie+NIS or Sandboxie+Comodo Firewall+Ondemand Scanners

I have a slight amount of experience with Sandboxie and have been wondering which direction to go as far as my security setup goes. I have been a long time NIS user because I get it free from Comcast and have never had any complaints. No virus's (that I know of) and I never felt that it slowed me down much. However I'm wondering if it is necessary anymore with the use of Sandboxie. I'm debating on switching to Comodo Firewall and on demand scanners instead of using NIS. What would be the pro's and con's of this and any advice?

I can't fully answer your question as I have no experience with Comodo's FW, but I am using Sandboxie together with NIS 2012. The combo seems to work very well together and imho provides a more complete security solution than Sandboxie alone (which in itself is very good).

Since you are not incuring any related system issues and as NIS comes at no cost to you, continued use of NIS along with Sandboxie seems like a 'no-brainer' to me.
