Tzuk, my suggestion would be an option to choose what type of icon one would want in the system tray to indicate that Sandboxie is operational.
For example, solid Green for Active or Red for Inactive.
Or a blinking icon green or red. A little easier to see than the red dots in a yellow square.
And of course, the choice of leaving the icon as it is.
Tray Icon Choices for Sandboxie
Currently. the tray icon has two visual states:
(1) plain yellow if nothing is running under Sandboxie's supervision.
(2) yellow with red dots to indicate some program is running under Sandboxie's supervision.
Is it possible to have a third visual state that would be a "subset" of (1):
no program is running under Sandboxie's supervision but the Sandbox is ***not*** empty.
Thank you for this wonderful program!

Others, including myself, have asked for some kind of indication that the sandbox is "dirty." But to do this in the tray icon might not make sense for users who have more than one sandbox defined.vasa1 wrote:Is it possible to have a third visual state that would be a "subset" of (1):
