I have Sandboxie set to automatically empty the Sandbox upon closing the browser. However, this feature seems to take a long time to execute.
If I shut the Browser, right click on the tray Icon and tell sandboxie to terminate processes in current sandbox. The empty process goes much quicker.
Could you make this a standard feature to save me the keystokes?
Auto Terminate processes in Sandbox upon closing browser?

It should not take any more time to delete automatically than by hand. It sounds like you may have a lingering process which is preventing Sandboxie from deleting the sandbox. Perhaps a plugin is remaining active after you close the browser. Open the main configuration window & check what is running. You should have a couple of Sandboxie processes plus the browser. While the window is open, close the browser & see if any process continues to run.
In the experimental version, you can add any 'leftover' processes via the GUI to the "Lingering Process" setting. For older versions, add the following line to the sandboxie.ini file:
LingerProcess=<name of process>
This will tell Sandboxie to close the leftover process so it can delete the box contents. Also, in the older versions, Sandboxie did not clear the sandboxes until all processes in all the sandboxes were terminated. This is not the case in the new experimental version which now deletes each box individually as the associated processes are terminated.

Hold on, can you clarify something for me. When you say it takes forever, do you mean that it takes forever for the deletion to finally take place, or it takes forever for the deletion to finally finish up? If the former, the it could be because some process you are running sandboxed is just taking a while to finally close, hence why the deletion doesnt start immediately after you exit an app, since auto-delete can't start until every app is closed. If the latter case though, then maybe you just have a helluva lot of junk in the sandbox?
Safetynut, before trying to figure out what exactly takes time (for example: is it browser that takes longer to shut down, or is it really that delete sandbox is delaying), I'd like to suggest the following alternative.
The Delete Sandbox window in the new version (3.20) stops any sandboxed programs as a side-effect of the delete, so perhaps this is already a way for you to save some clicks or keystrokes?

I am presently on V3.02.
I read in someone else's post that the latest experimental version is having issues with IE and Window's Mail in the same sandbox.
I am waiting til that problem is resolved to update to latest version.
But thank you for that response. It looks like my solutiuon is already in progress.
