Hello!
This is a two-part topic.
Background is I am braving Windows on a SP4Pro without keyboard, having no desk to sit at, and moving around/travelling a lot; so far so good
Below problems only manifest in Sandboxied applications
1.
Problem: SP4 pen (stylus) is functioning. But cannot use the handwriting input panel. I write, nothing comes out. Tried both in "full" and desktop mode.
Handwriting recognition works like magic otherwise. Haven't needed keyboard yet in 3 months of use
Searched the forum, found 3-4 old posts about Wacom/stylus, the most recent from 19 July 2015
Support said tablets are not 100% supported.
The thing is, SP is not really a tablet, being able to run "full fat" windows, which i am using most of the time.
Any chance of adding support for handwriting recog. in the future?
2. Touch /onscreen keyboard not fully responsive
This is a lesser (a.k.a, only slightly annoying) issue.
The input panel doesn't pop up the way it is configured to do when i enter input objects (t.ex. text fields on website forms, or input fields in the program interface, such as URL field)
Now, the onscreen input in SP/Win10 leaves a lot to be desired, but Sandboxying seems to strip off few precious details off of the functionality.
Again, is there any chance of adding full support for SP pro 4?
I am still evaluating and learning, but this might be the deal breaker for me, especially the handwriting, which is rapidly becoming my preferred input method.
Thank you for your time and efforts!

Hello witecat,
We are currently not offering support for tablets / handwriting features.
However, I am moving your post to the Feature Requests section, to keep it in mind for the future.
We will update this thread if anything new comes up.
Regards,
Barb.-
