Sandboxie Settings - Please Make Names Static

Post by DasFox » Mon Dec 15, 2008 11:09 pm

If you've noticed when you are in the Sandboxie settings and you click on the Root directory names, 'Recovery' - 'Delete', etc... they will open and close the sub directories below them.

When you click the + symbols to open and close, that is what they are designed for, to let the user open and close, not having a name you click on complete this action by closing the sub directories below it.

Even in Windows Explorer clicking on a name only opens the sub directories below it, if you click the name again while it's open it does nothing, but in Sandboxie it will close it up, this is not normal Windows behavior that end-users have come to expect with Windows.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I personally find it real anonying when I accidentally click a name and keep getting the sub directories below it closing that I was trying to look at.

I'm getting dizzy, LOL...

Hey sandboxie is a great program, so don't take it personal when I say it's anonying, it's nothing personal, but PLEASE make the names static so if someone clicks them they don't do anything other then open up the sub directories below them, not close them...

THANKS

Instead of clicking on the names, just use the + and -

Typical Windows behavior is that you can click either + symbol, but it's also normal behavior for users to click the names because it's also how Windows Explorer works.

The names need to just open the sub directories not close them...

The names open the subs when I click them (atleast for me)

Yes and it closes them too, that's what I'm talking about, having them close is not normal windows behavior.
