CCAV and SBIE

Post by Nix » Mon Apr 03, 2017 9:29 pm

I started having issues with SBIE auto delete I just saw this today after viewing the sandbox folder there were lots of folder like this one " __Delete_CHROME_01D2AB5BA56DCFBA" since April 2, the only program I installed back then was CCAV and Diskfresh. Diskfresh only refresh the hard disk so I doubt this would be the culprit and I also have it on my Win7 desktop w/o any issues, CCAV on the other hand has its own sandbox so this would be the logical choice.

So how can I make them work together w/o removing CCAV?! I've replaced WD w/ CCAV on my Win10 Laptop...

Figured it out:
Its the Browser Setting Protection>c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe>set to "Not Allowed" by default, preventing the deletion of the folder. Is there another path I can add for auto delete to work w/o compromising the default setting of CCAV browser protection?! Thanks!

Hello Nix,

Have you tried adding Sandboxie to the AV's white-list? :

Tried that but w/o luck...really or only option for me is to set c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe> to allow in CCAV

Hey Nix,

You might want to try a different way to delete your Sandbox:
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?SecureDeleteSandbox

Does CCAV have a training mode, so that you can allow the delete to work?
