Default Settings Safe?

Post by Unknown_User_449 » Wed Sep 13, 2006 12:00 am

I just recently learned about SandBoxie from Steve Gibson off his "Security Now" podcast. So far I love the program but I have a few quick questions.

1. Is leaving everything Default safe?
I have 2 partitions with My Documents Folder and
Programs Files on The D partition. I could change the location
of the SandBox if it would be safer.

2. If it's safer, How do I change the SandBox folder location?

1. Yes, defaults are fine. Usually the settings are used to make Sandboxie less protective but easier to use. Some compromises are reasonable.

2. It doesn't matter. But see Sandboxie Control menus:
Configuration -> Global Settings -> Set Sandbox Top Level Folder

Thanks tzuk,
I may just leave it as is since it's not a security issue or anything in it's default setting.

Thanks again......
