DCOM and CryptSvc + AppGuard question

Post by bjm » Thu May 05, 2016 3:02 pm

The following "Prevented" as reported (not same time) by AppGuard.
Prevented <Windows Problem Reporting> from reading memory of <Sandboxie COM Services (DCOM)>.
Prevented process <Sandboxie COM Services (CryptSvc)> from writing to <c:\windows\rescache\rc0030\rescache.hit>.

Q: from Sanboxie perspective as that is my main concern. Do "Prevented" block Sandboxie operation.
I can AppGuard > Ignore or add DCOM and CryptSvc to AppGuard > Power Applications.

AppGuard reserves Power Applications for security software products...., if AppGuard is blocking security product operation.

EDIT: Prevented process <Windows Problem Reporting> from writing to <c:\windows\appcompat\programs\amcache.hve>. has same time stamp as (DCOM) event.

@Invincea,
I've Set Container Folder to D:\Sandbox\%USER%\%SANDBOX%.
AppGuard seems happier.

Thanks

EDIT: I'm still finding yellow Icon at C:\Sandbox along with new yellow Icon at D:\Sandbox.
Is this as expected.
