Titlebar Customizable?

Post by mah » Wed Jul 11, 2007 3:58 pm

Would it be possible to make displaying the text of the name of the sandbox on the window titlebar toggleable?

The text of the name DefaultBox takes up most of the available space of the button on the taskbar and it you use those to visually reference what may be open, it could get confusing...

Just a suggestion.

Thanks,
Mark.

For your purposes, as I understand it, would this change work for you:

Not having the sandbox name at the beginning of the Title Bar, [#][DefaultBox] www.Yahoo.com ...but have it just before the second # symbol .... [DefaultBox][#]?

Example of title bar text
[#] www.yahoo.com - Mozilla Firefox [DefaultBox][#]

That would get the sandbox name out of the window's Taskbar space.

That might be more do-able for Tzuk, than to program some sort of a toggle, if it were to become a popular request.
(Of course, we already know about the configuration setting for BoxNameTitle)

Paul,

BoxNameTitle=n was all I needed - never even knew about that option in v3.

Thanks very much....
Mark.

Oops  I seem to have made a small mistake there, causing BoxNameTitle=y to become the default. I'll revise this soon. Thanks for noticing, Mark.

wth, it wasnt the default with me when i installed v3, maybe its because i didnt do a fresh install of v3 and instead (as always) installed v3 over a previous build?
