Thunderbird sandboxed
I have two computers. On one TB opens sandboxed, on the other it doesn't. AFAIK the settings are the same. Any guesses why?

Re: Thunderbird sandboxed
Hello cryptogram,
What happens when you try to launch Thunderbird, are you receiving any error messages?
Did you follow these steps on both computers?:
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?App ... ings#email
If you have the paid version of Sandboxie, you can force a program to always run in the Sandbox by following these steps:
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?Pro ... gs#program
If you want to launch an application Sandboxed, right-click on it --> Run Sandboxed --> Select the desired Sandbox
Regards,
Barb.-

Re: Thunderbird sandboxed
Thanks Barb. I note that the default location is %local appdata%\Thunderbird. Is this a location found by SB on my computer or is it set in stone and may not be accurate? Frankly, I'm having a problem finding this - 'local' doesn't seem to exist!

Re: Thunderbird sandboxed
Hello cryptogram,
Sandboxie includes templates that point to the default locations where programs save their data, in order to allow them to properly work Sandboxed.
If you have installed Thunderbird in a location other than the default one, you will have to manually give Sandboxie access to it. Otherwise, the template should work.
Are you experiencing any issues?
To access Local Appdata via Windows click on Start and type %LocalAppdata%
