Why is this issue ignored by developers ? If it's unsolvable then just tell us, at the very least we deserve some some sort of reply. I mean call me crazy but i don't feel this is a small issue at all, many organizations(companies, govs) use smartcards and also many banks are issuing certficates on smartcards for their clients.

I apologize for not responding earlier. We have been looking at this issue for a while, as many Freespace customers are having the same problem. The difficulties are the variety of cardreaders out there and the complexities of Windows security. Hopefully we can have a resolution (for the majority of cardreaders at least) in the next few weeks.

Hi Curt and Alan @ invincea,

I have the same problem here.

I'm trying [SBie408Pro][Win7x86][IE10] the card reader "cyberJack ® RFID comfort" to use with the new German electronic identity card (nPA) .

This Card Reader is the only one with EAL 4 + (Evaluation Assurance Level), with which all safety functions of the German electronic ID card (nPA) can be used.

For many people in Germany, it is necessary that this card reader works in Sandboxie.

Here is some information, most in German, but that should be no problem for an international company as invincea.

cyberJack® RFID komfort

Prospect / Prospekt

software AusweisApp

I very much hope that you manage to make this card reader together with the AusweisApp in Sandboxie to work.

It is indispensable for secure online use of the German electronic ID card (nPA). Thanks.
Have a nice day ...
. Uwe

I can see it would be valuable to support this in Sandboxie. However, we are not likely to get to this for some time.
