non-restorable "Delete Contents" & program in

Hi,

first of all I wanna thank you for this wonderful piece of software. Nice work!

I mainly use Sandboxie to shield my system from malicious website, i.e. I use Firefox running in SB a lot. When I delete the Sandbox's contents all the deleted files can still be restored by data rescue applications.

So my first request for a IMHO pretty useful feature would be the implementation of safe erase algorithms that overwrite the files' names and the files themselves with random numbers like for instance the Gutmann algorithm.

I also use the View-->Programs tab a lot. Last time I was visiting a website that launched a kinds of crap background processes, which all showed up nicely in View-->Programs, but there is no info on how a certain process was invoked and yet more important by which one. This would be useful in analyzing the behavior of questionable applications.
Well, this if of course not so easy to implement as my first feature, but it's definitely something one could keep in mind...

So, what do you guys think?

Keep up the good work,
Marcus

2 secure delete options are available. You need to download either SDelete or Eraser v5.8.8 (NOT v6).
Then use the appropriate button on Sandbox Settings > Delete > Delete Command to navigate to the .exe program.
(Note that the first time you use SDelete there's an SDelete EULA that you need to agree to - run the sdelete.exe program in a command window one time, and the appropriate Registry entry will be made)
These 2 are supported in Sandboxie.

Some people have used BCWipe or set CCleaner to do a secure deletion of the sandbox contents.

Process Explorer will show what you are referring to in item 2.
No need to reinvent the wheel.
One of Sandboxie's best features is it's compact size.

Amen to that. And sandboxie is a security (rather than privacy) application and hope it stays that way :)
