Sorry about length as always...
You mean if you don't want to simply use GUI Bench? (After opening up some more windows...) I just tried on the laptop, opening 20 blank IE 6 windows (Ctrl + N) and got about 5 second delay there. (I added 25 more on main system to what was already open to get 16 seconds.) Stuff is slower on main system, with the other stuff running, window objects (outside of Sandboxie I mean). Laptop is as clean as can be.
I gave that example from laptop that I said has no changed settings, no software (besides Firefox), and therefore no Software Compatibility detected/selected.
I mentioned in my much earlier testing months ago that the 2 Software Compatibility items on main system had no effect. I tried everything back when I first found the difference between global and prefix * remember.
Thanks for checking stuff however.
What function does that "non-useless" stuff serve? Everything worked just fine in 4.02 when ZERO of it ran with OpenWinClass=* Still in restricted Job, everything worked, just need to do the class-prefixing part. BTW, there doesn't seem to be a "reverse" equivalent happening with e.g. DestroyWindow.
Can you check/use 4.02? And simply add a couple necessary things back that OpenWinClass=* removes?
