As you know, there are some malwares that know they are being sandboxed and refuse to run.
I vaguely remember reading somewhere that if you choose the option to NOT include the hash-tags (#) in the window title, that they are fooled into thinking that they aren't being run within Sandboxie?

False. Most malwares do other kind of checkings to know if they are running under Sandboxie.
