Prog required framework 4
Re: Prog required framework 4
Good news is, this issue has nothing to do with .NET4 so we can at least stop chasing our tails on that one!
Bad news is the program is trying to do something that doesn't seem to be supported from within Sandboxie.SBIE2205 Service not implemented: WMI IWbemServices 23
SBIE2224 Sandboxed program has crashed: AnyTrans.exe [DefaultBox]

Re: Prog required framework 4
swan_x, you made 7 posts claiming that your problem was installing the .Net Framework inside the sandbox, and you argued with everyone that said it wouldn't work. And it turns out that, not only does your problem not have anything to do with installing .Net in the sandbox, it has nothing to do with .Net at all.
If you had posted the error messages from the Sandboxie error dialog box as we ask people to do (http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... 11&t=19746), it would have avoided a lot of wasted time. So thank Syrinx for doing this for you.
Now to the real problem. I installed AnyTrans. Under Sbie, it does have some problem communicating with WMI. Discovering exactly where the problem lies may require a lot of debugging time. But, from reading the app's documentation, the purpose of AnyTrans is to transfer data to and from iPhones. What is the big need to have this application sandboxed in the first place? Are you concerned that Windows malware could be coming from your iPhone?
You are the only person that has ever mentioned wanting to sandbox AnyTrans. Unless there is more demand and valid reasons to get this working in Sandboxie, I believe we have already spent too much time on this.
