Av scanning inside sandbox

I noticed on my av logs that it was scanning inside my sandbox. Should I omit the sandbox from my av scanner, or does it really matter either way? I did a quick search and did not turn up anything on this, so my apologies if this has been covered before.

That's normal and you should leave it that way.
Otherwise, you might have some malware inside of a sandbox and not know about it.
