How Sandboxie connects to internet if proxy has to be used

Hello,
there are different posts to the proxy topic in this forum but I think not exactly what I need.
I wonder how Sandboxie knows how to connect ot internet if one is behind a proxy.
Obviously there is no need (and no possibility) to set or change the proxy settings.
Currently I have the problem, that I had to chang my proxy password and after this
Sandboxie fails to connect to internet (looking for updates or acceptiong registration key).
I changed also the IE settings but it didn't help.
Are there any suggestions?
