Problems with webpages that contain flash

Right, that was meant as a partial solution. More trial and error revealed
that \DEVICE\* works because it made an exception \Device\HarddiskVolume1,
so this really wasn't about COM or pipes or devices or anthing like this.

It's about paths. More precisely, the lengths of paths.

The default sandbox path %AppData%\Sandbox causes paths like this:

(264 characters) and that's just too long for poor CPF to handle...
Slowly but surely, the long paths create memory corruption errors
within CPF, until the system locks up.

Try setting your sandbox to C:\SANDBOX.

Very interesting. I'll test and get back to you. I suppose there's nothing Sandboxie can do about it then, since it sounds like a Comodo problem. I wonder if it's something I should bring up to the program developers??

UPDATE - Tested and working great!! This also solved my problem with high CPU usage at megaupload.

Maybe this type of problem would suggest changing the default sandbox directory to the root drive instead of %AppData%. I wonder how many other bugs/application errors/apps can't run etc. are related to this?

so I'm not paying attention to this thread and SND is real high on Comodo in another thread, so I install Comodo only to get the same problems as Wraithdu.

I think, oh no - but then I think, "I got faith in tzuk" - I check back a couple of hours later and situation is all solved - move my top folder and just like Wraithdu everything works great.

Can't buy service like this!

Yep, and just to clear it up for ppl who may not know, you only need to manually reload the config when you manually make a change to the config. If you use the gui aspect of the program to make a change to the program/ini, then you dont need to reload the config.
