Evernote text and graphics not persistent

I use Sandboxie 4.16 (64-bit) with Chrome and Win 7.
If Evernote is sandboxed, I can type notes and insert graphics. Graphics are simple copy-and-paste. I don't use the Clipper feature.
If I switch to another note, then back to the note that I just created, text and graphics have disappeared. Only the title is persistent. This is repeatable.
I tried synching before switching notes. No success.
As a final test, Evernote works OK outside a sandbox.
I'm not a techie, so maybe running Evernote sandboxed is "overkill". I would be grateful for any advice.
I haven't contacted Evernote yet. I think the logical sequence is to contact this forum first.
BTW: I've tested SBIE to death over the last 5 days. This is the only issue that I've found so far
