Hello,
I noticed some trouble while testing and installing software for MPEG-2 systems: a transport stream analyzer "TSReader Lite" from
http://www.coolstf.com/tsreader/
A free Lite Version "TSReader Lite" can be found on http://www.coolstf.com/okdownload.html
The setup TSReaderLite2.7.45d.exe will be started by Drag&Drop in the Sandbox Control. The Process is listed in the Sandboxie Control. The Setup window is marked with "#". Target for installing is D:\TSReaderLite
The program is installed not inside the sandbox but on real drive D: !!!
Strange: Shortcuts in for the startmenu are installed inside the sandbox.
Sandboxie 2.84
WinXP SP2
D: is in the sandbox.ini not defined as OpenFilePath
Setup breakthrough Sandboxie

the trouble with this setup is several times reproducible. Also this happens on a second/different WinXP installation on my computer. Probably configuration of my sandboxie.ini is the problem ?

Oh Yes - thats my problem. Thanks tzuk !
I wanted to open the directory D:\T and not everything like D:\T*
I modified in my sandboxie.ini all "OpenFilePath" Entries ending with a "\" eg, "D:\T\"
Now everything works fine - only this directory is opened.
I suggest making this feature clear understandable in the Online Help:
-------------------------------------------------------
...
[DefaultBox]
OpenFilePath=C:\Downloads
OpenFilePath=C:\*Downloads\MyFile.txt
OpenFilePath=*.eml
OpenFilePath=iexplore.exe,%Favorites% OpenFilePath=msimn.exe,*.eml
The first example setting specifies that any files (or folders) created in the folder C:\Downloads (and in any folder below it) will not be sandboxed.
...
--------------------------------------------------------
Exactly it has be be defined as "OpenFilePath=C:\Downloads\" to reach the described feature.
