Online Games wont load up
first off my hat goes off to tzuk im a new user of sandboxie and i already love it however the main reason i got this program is because i am currently playing a mmorpg "Vanguard saga of heroes" and I can't get it to run at all... now i did some research on these forums saying some games need to have traces open.. well i don't got slightest clue as to what the hell that is. what i have been doing is this
boot up game and log in normal then i minimize the current version of the game
boot up sandboxie if it isn't booted up yet
then i run another client of the game via sandboxed
everything is fine and the game loads up the patcher, checks files ect and everything is good to go. then when i hit the "play" button which starts up the actually game i get splash screen which is prompted by a crash causing my entire screen to go black. and im clueless ass how to fix this.
do i need to have multiple installations? do i need to reinstall the game via sandboxed? I'm very lost if there is any sort of log or what not i should post please reply and let me know

Well for starters, how come your running 2 instances of the game, one instance that you've opened "normally" outside sandboxie and a second instance that you've run "sandboxed" inside sandboxie? Also if it comes down to it, and we cant find out how to make it work, then you'll have to run a trace, so are you prepared to get your hands dirty?

im good to go and yes that is correct im running one instance normally and one sandboxed, why am i doing this? because i want to play two characters at once on the same pc and this is the only known way. if anyone can help me with this

Well im not positve but maybe the fact that your running 2 instances is whats causing the problem, have you tried just running 1 instance (sandboxed), does it cause the same problem?

Ok, lets do a trace then, go to your configuration and look for this:
FileTrace=.
PipeTrace=.
KeyTrace=.
IpcTrace=.
GuiTrace=.
change it so it looks like this:
FileTrace=.
PipeTrace=d
KeyTrace=.
IpcTrace=d
GuiTrace=d
then hit Ctrl+S on your keyboard and close the config file, then reload the configuration.
Now grab Debugview here http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysint ... gview.mspx, once its downloaded, extract the zip file and run Debugview, once its running, go ahead and launch your game sandboxed (make sure the sandboxed game is the only instance running) and you should start to see alot of text appear in debugview, go ahead and save all the text to a log file (File > Save as in Debugview) then (if its not too long) copy and paste the contents of the log file onto here.
