Version 4.05.12 adds support for Windows 8.1, for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

Let's start with reporting Win81 problems in this topic, by replying to this topic, rather than posting new topics elsewhere.

Thanks.

I am guessing this works for the final 8.1 version & not the preview. It still will not run for me on the preview version.

Hi, I am running the latest Sandboxie Beta on Windows 8.1 RTM, almost everything is working flawlessly, apart from no audio on YouTube and other video share sites.
I have the latest Adobe Flash Player plugin in both Firefox and Chrome.
Is this a known issue.

Regards :)

Immediate Recovery

Hi,

First, thanks for the beta that adds support for Windows 8.1.

Now for the issue, I have not been able to get the "Immediate Recovery" option working, for example, saving a jpg to the Desktop. The "Quick Recovery" continues to work in this situation.

Immediate Recovery and IDM problem..

Experienced the same thing in my Win 8.1 Pro With WMC x64-PC...

Internet Download Manager in Firefox 24 sandboxed firefox doesn't take over the downloads automatically...Downloads work well when firefox is not sandboxed.Does any other user experience the same thing?

I'm using Opera 12.16. Realize: Sandboxie is much faster starting Opera. Perfectly with Windows 8.0 x86. :D

Notepad.exe sandboxed can't work on Win8.1 rtm x64 (4.05.12), sandboxie showed "SBIE2205 Service not implemented:NtCreateProcessEx(2460)" and application error "The instruction at 0x5b2a179f referenced memory at 0×00000000 The memory could not be written" .
